Meet the Team

"Atlanta is my home. In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, I believe that everyone should do their part to take care of those who are the most vulnerable. Starting this initiative is my way of doing just that, and to give back to the community that has given me so much these past couple of years."

"Most of my life has been spent in Atlanta, so to me, the city is home. I think now more than ever, it is important to extend as much kindness and love as possible. Metro Atlanta Food Initiative gives me the opportunity to do so in the community I love so much. It is my hope that through MAFI, I can deliver hope and warmth to those weighed down by uncertainty and anxiety."

"Atlanta has undoubtedly become my home for the past 14 years. In difficult times like the one we are experiencing at the moment, it's extremely important for us to support one another. I sincerely hope that our efforts can positively impact our local community that we've all been a part of for such a long time."

"As the nutritionist on the team, I am dedicated to helping families in ATL receive nutritionally balanced food and care packages to combat food insecurity issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. After residing in ATL for over 15 years, I hope to impact my local community and offer beneficial nutritional advice for those who are in need"

"I moved to Atlanta when I was only five years old, and no matter where I go, this will always be my first real home. Growing up here allowed me to unravel the importance of serving and advocating for local communities, especially minorities. As the Head of Business Development and Outreach, I am prepared to bring more awareness to so many others.
